Jim Grgor – Photographer / Digital Artist

Jim Gregor is an award-winning photographer with over 25 years of experience behind the lens. As a dedicated visual artist, he blends photography and digital post-processing to create striking, stylized images that celebrate the beauty and individuality of his subjects. His work is defined by a clean, high-impact aesthetic, often using hi‑key lighting to produce vibrant, polished portraits.

Jim is the co-founder of Chromatrance, a residential studio based in Billerica, Massachusetts. The name “Chromatrance” reflects his creative philosophy — drawn from chroma, meaning purity or intensity of color, and trance, a state of deep focus. His goal has always been to produce images that are not only visually beautiful but also emotionally resonant.

Known for his professionalism, patience, and collaborative spirit, Jim has built a reputation as a trusted photographer among both new and experienced models. He encourages open communication, welcomes chaperones, and ensures that every session is respectful, comfortable, and creatively rewarding.

Chris Arbeene – Photographer

Chris Arbeene has been passionate about photography for nearly 50 years, beginning with his first camera — a Canon FTB film SLR. Over time, photography has evolved, but Chris’s love for capturing moments and telling visual stories has remained constant. He enjoys both the technical craft and the creative exploration that comes with every shoot.

For almost three decades, Chris has been an active member of the Greater Lynn Photographic Association in Lynn, Massachusetts, where he continues to learn, share, and connect with other photographers.

His favorite subjects include female portraiture, landscapes and scenic views, motorsports, and air shows. Whether working with people, places, or fast-paced action, Chris strives to create images that feel natural, engaging, and visually expressive.
